Career Week Experience | Fac. Veterinary Medicine UPM

Career Week 2015 . For normal students, some might found this particular event is not their cup of tea. Well obviously, who would like to spend their 2-3 hours just to hear someone was talking on the stage? Some might just fell into sleep, some would just don't care at all whatever the speaker was talking about in front. All these perceptions, probably, I'm sure, everyone would felt the same. Some of them. Not everyone. Okay.

But i have to say, this career talk totally has risen up my spirit back to strive for more in the future as a vet one day. The talk was very interactive and responsive, and inspirational as well. With all the speakers that being invited to this talk, they were not just giving and sharing their experiences during the time of studies and job but I really felt that they 'channeled' their aura and spirit to every single of us in the auditorium.

Being A Vet
Not an easy job but not impossible to succeed. It depends on your passion and interest in various field, from wildlife to pharmaceuticals, if you really strive for your dreams, you would succeed. This was generally said by the speakers throughout those 3 days. Things like sacrifice, willingness to learn, never give up, try something new and other positive attitudes are being implemented by the speakers in their respective jobs.

Widened Horizon
Surely. Haha.
Me asking question regarding on livestock production specific on dairy production to Dr. Ardhy Adnan from DVS.

Vet That I Would To Be
A farm vet. Livestock farm vet I meant. I like ruminants and poultry and other livestock. Why? Because our nation is still lack on livestock production (excluding poultry and pig production) and the demand for their product is still high in this country. And to have good products from this livestock, it must come from healthy animals.

My friends and I after the talk. Notice me holding the gift after asking question to Prof Sharif, it was a package of chocolate. Yummm!

So that's where me and other vets one day would treat them for their own welfare and other people welfare. Indirectly, I served for two parties and I bet it would felt great.

Some of the gifts that I got when giving the speakers questions. Yeah, the gifts are a bit too cute for a gentleman like me

Favorite Speaker
Absolutely Prof. Dato' Dr Mohd Shariff ! He is the real definition of gentleman with possession of various knowledge and courage to break into new paradigm.

Everyone's favorite man, Prof. Shariff in the house!

That's all from me. I hope can write something more interesting in the future. Have a pleasant day!
